Credentialing Fundamentals
ICPC credentialing is a sequential process. For example, you must hold the Basic credential to apply for the Senior credential, hold the Senior credential to apply for the Master credential, hold the Master credential to apply for the Diplomate credential, and so on.
As you read more about each credential level, you'll notice that you may earn Continuing Education Units (CEUs) by attending training events and courses not sponsored by ICPC. To have your attendance at those training activities considered for CEU credit at ICPC, please submit your training certificates and/or transcripts (electronically or via
the US Postal Service) to the ICPC office. Certificates should include the date and number of contact hours (from which the CEUs are derived). Failure to include the required information will cause a delay in processing your request for CEUs.
